Brent Pendleton Program/Musical Director
Brent Pendleton was born June 21, 1958 in Stephenville, TX. He was writing songs on his grandfather's piano at the age of four. He was seriously involved in band and choir from the fifth grade through college.
He began playing drums in various bands by the age of sixteen.
Brent attended Tarleton State University from 1977-1980, with a music education major as a percussionist. During this time he played in a band that included his father and sister.
In 1983, he went on the road with a band called "The Shoppe". They toured the country playing fairs and opening for such groups as the Beach Boys, Shelly West and Louise Mandrel. It was during this time Brent met his wife Mary at a show in Washington State.
In 1985, Brent did a tour as bandleader with "Dukes of Hazzard" star Tom Wopat. From 1985 to 1994 he played the Dallas/Ft. Worth club circuit. During this time he also produced over 150 sessions in Dallas area recording studios.
In 1990, Brent and a partner started a company called the "Beachbound Music Group" writing and recording motivational music for a corporate client. In a two-year period they produced and distributed over 250,000 units.
In 1994 he was the bandleader for 12-year-old LeAnn Rimes. From 1995-1998, Brent worked for a company called "Gemstone Productions", in Jacksonville Florida. During this time he was a writer and producer. He also gained video-editing experience on Avid systems, and attended several Avid schools.
In 1998, Brent went back to work with LeAnn Rimes. He did all of her concert and TV dates. He's done shows such as David Letterman, The Tonight show, The Today Show, Good Morning America, The Billboard Awards and many others. He also had the privilege of working with Steven Spielberg on a television special.
Brent currently lives in Olympia, Washington with his wife and three children.
