Why this type of program for you conference? After a full day of business-related activities, your attendees will welcome a change of pace toward the evening. Lieutenant Governor Brad Owen, who has garnered a national reputation as one of the most involved elected officials on youth related issues presents the program. He received the Drug Watch International Freedom Award for his work against drugs, has been selected to be part of national panels, received recognition from former President Bush and both President Clinton's and Bush's drug czars for his work with kids and communities. Lieutenant Governor Owen serves on the governor's council on substance abuse, and was awarded an honorary doctorate in letters (humanities) from Walla Walla College in 2002 for his relentless work with kids and communities and years of public service. But do not worry! This is not a typical dry and boring political speech. He presents the program with a live band, (yes he plays and sings) computer generated images on a large screen and a verbal presentation. Prior to the presentation Strategies for Youth will work with you to secure pictures of your attendee's kids and grandkids and they will be included in an emotional conclusion to the program on the big screen.
